OUR THEORY OF CHANGE
IF SHEEO increases rural adolescent girls’ access to education, re-entry opportunities,
leadership development, life skills, well-being support, economic empowerment pathways,
and community-based protection systems;
AND IF Families, schools, community leaders, government institutions, and other stakeholders actively support girls’ education, protection, participation, independence, and development;
THEN Rural adolescent girls—both in-school and out-of-school—will access, remain in, or return to learning opportunities; develop critical skills, confidence, and resilience; exercise agency over their lives; and successfully transition into adulthood and productive livelihoods; LEADING TO Improved educational attainment, greater gender equality, enhanced economic resilience, reduced vulnerability, and empowered generations of women leaders who contribute to sustainable community development.
